The website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, USA) via Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data such as IP address, time, page requested and browser type in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and fast operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; we have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare.

When you write to us via the form, we process the details you enter: name, email address, requested dates, number of guests, preferred accommodation and your message. We use them solely to answer your enquiry and prepare a stay (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The form data is forwarded to us as an email via the service Web3Forms (web3forms.com). To protect against automated submissions, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks technical characteristics of your browser and the IP address (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, protection against abuse). Turnstile may set a technically necessary cookie for this.

We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to process it and for a possible stay. If a booking follows, the statutory retention periods for business records also apply (generally seven years in Austria).

If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's privacy policy (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) applies. The WhatsApp link on this site only transfers data once you click it. We treat enquiries by phone or email in the same way as form enquiries.

The booking calendar for the apartments is an external service at haus-nampolach.w.mytourist.cloud. It opens in its own window and the provider's privacy policy applies there. This website itself does not transfer any data to it.

Your browser fetches the current temperature in Nampolach directly from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com); your IP address is transmitted to this service in the process. The browser briefly caches the last request locally, without personal data. The map on the Region and Contact pages loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, Cambridge, UK) as soon as you scroll to it; your IP address is transmitted here as well. The legal basis in each case is our legitimate interest in a useful display of location and weather (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

This website uses no analytics or advertising cookies and embeds no social media plugins. The fonts are hosted on our own server; no connection to Google Fonts is made.

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object. Simply write to us at info@hausnampolach.com.
